Crowns

Crowns

If your tooth is starting to crack, weaken, or visibly decay, but it remains firmly in place in your gums, bonding or filling may not be sufficient to solve the problem

During the crown procedure, the original tooth is filed down to the enamel and then capped using the crown. A crown is a cap made of porcelain, gold, or porcelain fused with metal. It will appear regularly in your smile but will replace the damaged part of your tooth.
