Dentures are a removable replacement for a full or partial set of missing teeth. There are multiple approaches for full sets of dentures: Conventional Full Dentures and Immediate Full Dentures.

For a full set of dentures, the remaining teeth are removed. With Conventional Full Dentures, once the tissue is healed from removing the remaining teeth, a process that typically takes several months, the dentures will be created.

However, with Immediate Full Dentures, the necessary measurements are taken before the removal of the teeth so the dentures are ready immediately after the removal of the remaining teeth. Because gum tissue changes as it heals though, these dentures will need to be tightened later.
